Rory Blazeby has been promoted to Managing Director of Global Growth, a strategic internal appointment as Sonata One continues to build its presence as The Private Funds Clearinghouse.
Rory will drive the expansion of our global network, overseeing new client acquisition, developing existing mandates, and building channel partnerships. He will also scale our commercial team across geographies and service lines, with a mandate to deliver a coordinated global growth strategy.
As fundraising becomes increasingly global, we are seeing rising interest from US managers launching European fund structures, highlighting the need for seamless, end-to-end cross-border regulatory and investor servicing solutions. The upcoming launch of transfer agency services and the continued expansion of our regulated footprint puts us in pole position to support this shift. Scaling our commercial team under Rory’s leadership is central to connecting these expanded capabilities with industry demand.

Rory Blazeby joined Sonata One in 2021 to establish the commercial function post spin-out. He has since led client-facing and operational teams, most recently overseeing client relationship management. With over a decade in asset management, Rory brings an end-to-end perspective that positions him to lead the next phase of growth.
