Join us as an Automation Specialist, a crucial role in our dynamic fintech team where you’ll spearhead the automation of our regression test packs to integrate seamlessly into our development pipelines. In addition to test automation, your expertise will be vital in bolstering the security and performance of our applications in the staging environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • ISTQB certification.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools, notably Selenium IDE.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with performance testing tools and best practices.
  • Proven track record in automating test scenarios, particularly for regression testing.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Experience in collaborating with QA testers and other technical teams to align automation goals and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Automate regression test packs using tools such as Selenium IDE, ensuring they run seamlessly within our CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to determine automation criteria and continuously update automated test scenarios as applications evolve.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks that can be efficiently scaled and maintained.
  • Develop and execute security tests to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and ensure that applications adhere to security standards.
  • Conduct performance testing in the staging environment to ensure applications are optimized, scalable, and resilient under load.
  • Recommend improvements based on testing outcomes to bolster system security and performance.
  • Work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to align testing strategies with development and business goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest in automation, security, and performance testing trends, introducing innovations and best practices to the team.
  • Advocate for and instil a culture of quality-first and continuous improvement across the organisation.
